A Houston, Texas native. This is her twenty second year in business. Her product line consists of an equipage of personal and decorative accessories made with jewelry findings. These findings, called "stampings" are of solid brass stamped from turn of the century machinery which still produces today for the jewelry, fashion and decorative accessory industries. In 2006, Kimberly began buying vintage crosses and having them modeled into lead free castings. These designs are confined to her and not available to any other designer. Kimberly is the sole designer of her product line. Once a product is chosen, each piece is individually handcrafted by her team of assemblers.
Kimberly Wolcott Designs products have been sold nationwide as well as Japan and England. Her designs have been featured in high end gift boutiques, department stores and catalogs. In addition, she develops product for special events, churches and charities. She developed Crown Jewel ornaments for the private quarters Christmas tree in the White House for President Clinton, First Lady Hillary and daughter, Chelsea in 1993.
Recently, Kimberly started a new chapter in her life and married a native Rhode Islander. She moved her business to Rhode Island in January of 2008. She resides on a seven acre farm in Richmond, Rhode Island with her Italian husband, Steve, teacup pup, "Big" and "Eloise" the cat. Her studio is in Providence. She loves journaling in her prayer book, gardening, cooking and viewing magazines, craft and design books for inspiration. Her number one inspiration is her faith in God! Most of Kimberly's designs are inspirational in nature, each with the intention of being a testimony of her faith.
